White hat, grey hat, black hat… you’ve probably heard the terms right but what exactly is GREY HAT SEO?

Well typically, white hat is all the 100% above board stuff like creating great content, keeping your HTML and CSS clean and tidy, and letting people link to you naturally.  Black hat is stuff like keyword stuffing and other “sneaky” techniques which the search engines frown upon, and grey hat is somewhere in between…

Now one of my favorite “gurus” for want of a better word, Russell Brunson, is currently teaching some awesome techniques which he is calling “The Darkside or DotComSecrets” which has a real grey hat feel to it, but in essence it’s just some really seriously cool techniques for getting a ton of free traffic.
