You might have heard me mention Yaro Starak on this blog before, he’s a great blogger and podcaster in the Internet marketing niche. Recently Yaro launched his Blog Mastermind coaching program, and to promote it he’s released a free report called Blog Profit Blueprints.

I downloaded the free report a few days ago and have just finished reading it so I thought I’d share my thoughts here.

First up, it’s a very well written 54 page report aimed at people interested in blogging for an income. Of course, it’s a promotional tool for Blog Mastermind, so it’s to be expected that a few pages talk about Yaro’s own businesses, and the coaching program, but the rest is packed with genuine useful content.

Yaro discusses blogs in general, why they are useful tools and why anyone would want to start one. Then he goes into content, discussing his ‘pillar’ approach of producing solid content that will form the foundation of a successful blog.

After content, the report moves on to promotion, how to drive traffic to a blog and build relationships before finally discussing different ways to monetise a site. He also covers a lot of mindset stuff like why blog (passion vs profits), why many blogs fail, and time vs rewards.

Throughout the content, Yaro constantly refers back to his own business to give real life examples and tie each point together. The book is written at a level that should be digestable by beginners, yet still has enough substance to give a real solid introduction to the world of blogging.

I certainly found a few useful pointers here, and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone currently blogging, or thinking abouy starting a blog. In fact, I think Darren Rowse says it best in his testimonial on the download page, “I wish there was something like this around when I first started out making money from Blogs”.  You know if someone like Darren Rowse makes a comment like that, it has to be worth a look!
